Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data we collect on blumtastic.com, why, who helps us process it and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
1. Who we are
The website blumtastic.com is run by BLUMTASTIC MARTECH LLC (“BLUMTASTIC”, “we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].
2. What we collect and why
| When | What | Why | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|---|
| You request a visibility check or contact us | Name, email, company, website, city and towns you serve, specialty, typical project size, your message and, if you used the AI panel first, its result | To prepare and send your report, answer you and follow up about it | Steps you asked for before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in a reasonable follow-up (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| You use the live AI search panel | The city and specialty you choose. We also keep a short-lived counter linked to your IP address to limit how many live searches one visitor can run | To generate the answer and protect the service from abuse | Legitimate interest in providing and protecting the tool (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| You visit any page | Technical data your browser sends: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, date and time | To deliver the website securely | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| You visit any page | Anonymous, aggregated statistics: pages viewed, referring site, country, device type. No cookies, no profile of you | To understand which pages are useful | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
About the AI search panel
When you run a live search, the city and specialty you chose are sent to our AI provider, which uses web search to write the answer. The company name you type is not sent to us or to our AI provider: it stays in your browser and is only used to highlight your company if it appears. Answers are stored by city and specialty for up to seven days so the same search doesn’t run twice; they contain business names, not data about you. If you open a personalised link that includes a company name in the address, that address is requested from our hosting provider like any other page.
3. Who processes data for us
We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data only on our behalf and under our instructions: website hosting and security, cookie-free website analytics, form handling, business email, and the AI service that writes the panel’s answers. Each processes data under data protection terms.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
4. International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where the GDPR applies, these transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep it
- Form submissions and related emails: as long as needed to handle your request and follow up, and no longer than 24 months if you don’t become a client. Client records are kept for the length of the contract and any period the law requires afterwards.
- The AI panel’s rate-limit counter: about one hour.
- Cached AI answers: up to seven days (no personal data).
- Hosting and security logs: kept for a limited period by our hosting provider.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. You can object at any time to follow-up emails. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within one month.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to fix the issue first.
If you live in a U.S. state with a privacy law, you have the rights that law gives you. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
7. Cookies
We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising. See our Cookie Policy.
8. Children
This website is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date below.
